The festival "Delicious Kazan" is the main republican gastronomic event, which presents national cuisine and leading concepts and projects in the field of public catering in Kazan. In 2016, the festival was visited by more than 20,000 people, in 2017, about 50,000 visitors. The fourth “Delicious Kazan” gastronomic festival was held in the Millennium Park from May 12 to 13, 2018 as part of the venue of the “Final Four” fan festival of the volleyball Champions League. The largest festival of the Republic, dedicated to the development of food culture and the presentation of restaurants and cafes of the capital of Tatarstan, gathered over 40,000 people in two days. It was visited by about 25,000 Kazan citizens, at least 12,000 guests from more than 15 cities of Russia, including Kemerovo, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Cheboksary, Tolyatti, Ufa, Izhevsk and others. The festival attracted the attention of foreign tourists as well - about 3,000 residents from different parts of the world visited the venue, it is noteworthy that there are a lot of foreign visitors from Italy and Poland among the spectators - volleyball teams of these countries were among the participants of the Final Four. Also, as part of the work to improve and strengthen the exchange of cultures of countries at the opening of our festival, the chef from China gave a lesson in cooking national Chinese dishes.

In the Millennium Park, there are 46 pavilions from restaurants, cafes, pastry shops and coffee houses from all over the city, as well as points of sale of farm products, called the “Alley of farmers”. More than 20 producers of unique farm products took part in it, not only from the whole republic, but also from a number of Russian regions.

During the festival, we pay special attention to the harmonious combination of Tatar national dishes and modern Western dishes. The attention of the public was attracted by meat and seafood dishes, fried ice cream, national desserts, burgers with falafel or pineapple, crusty burgers and lemonade with the addition of liquid nitrogen. For the convenience of guests, benches with tables in the open air were placed throughout the park, and visitors could also sit on park benches, by a large fountain or on a lawn. In total, 16 tons of food were eaten at the festival (which is an absolute record) - four tons more than last year.

The festival's entertainment program was centered around a large stage located not far from one of the entrances. Russian and foreign bloggers, famous Kazan singers, dance groups, special guests, DJ sets, prize draws from city institutions and cooking classes took place here, for example, drawing a portrait on coffee, making black kystyburger and brewing Tatar herbal tea. In addition, workshops were held in the pavilions of the establishments themselves: the guests were taught to bake pancakes, cook real pilaf in a cauldron, brew cold coffee, interfere with cocktails and treat oysters properly. In parallel, the playground and the photo zone worked in the open air.
